IIHSA Annual Study Tour to Greece,
August 22nd - September 1st 2011

This ten day tour is organized for 3rd level students in Irish Universities, particularly those studying Classics and Classical Civilization. It includes visits to all the major Bronze Age and Classical sites of mainland Greece. The itinerary (subject to minor changes) is as follows.

Price: € 550 includes:

* all hotel accommodation with breakfast (based on double or triple rooms in 3-star hotels)
* air-conditioned coach
* in-depth guiding by IIHSA archaeologists
* free entry to all archaeological sites and museums
* introduction to Greek culture and cuisine

Note that the price does NOT include travel to Greece. The Institute is happy to advise you on booking flights. Further activities, daytrips can also be recommended for those who arrive before the 22nd or leave after the 1st. It is mandatory for participants to arrange their own travel insurance.
 
The 2011 tour will be led by Dr. Thomas Loughlin, Assistant Director of the Irish Institute, and a second experienced guide. Further information and BOOKING FORMS are available from IIHSA representatives in your University.
