Ciorcal comhrá (Irish-language circle)

We are delighted to invite you to the fifth session of Caint agus Cultúr, our collaborative initiative with the Greek-Irish Society.

We will begin, as usual, with the Ciorcal Comhrá, our Irish-language conversation circle and informal class, where everyone can practise speaking Irish in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All levels are welcome, including complete beginners with no prior knowledge of Irish.

The second part of the evening will be a special event dedicated to the history and traditions of Irish Halloween, featuring short archival and documentary vidoes, games, storytelling and Halloween treats prepared especially for the occasion. A little history, a little mystery, and something sweet to finish!

The session will be held on Sunday, 1 November 2026 at the premises of the Irish Institute of Hellenic Studies at Athens (Agras 23, Pangrati).

·          Ciorcal Comhrá: 18:30

·          The Irish Halloween: 19:30
You are very welcome to attend either part of the evening - or both!

Please note that registration is required.

See you there, if you dare! ~  Feicfidh muid ann sibh, más leomh libh é!
